Open House

The Deer Creek Conservation District Directors and staff host an open house every other December in the district office. The come and go event features door prizes, tables full of homemade cooking and lots of good old-fashioned hospitality and visiting.

Also at the open house, the district presents awards to recognize district cooperator for their dedication to conservation.

At the 2010 open house, DCCD honored Dean Wilson of Weatherford with the Governor’s Conservation Award.

Loren Liebscher was presented with an award naming him as the OACD Area IV Outstanding Landowner. He was also honored as the Outstanding Landowner for the state of Oklahoma during Conservation Day at the Capitol in March 2011.
